My Server products are now unsupported. What can I do to stay supported?
We understand staying supported is a top priority. You have two options to move to a supported platform: migrate to Cloud or upgrade to Data Center. Cloud is our recommended option for the majority of our customers as it allows your teams to work faster, smarter, and stronger together on a trusted platform.
For next steps, we recommend:
Claiming your free Cloud Migration Trial. We offer 60-day free Cloud Migration Trials for Server customers with expired maintenance. Please visit our documentation for more details.
Reading our Cloud Migration Guide to learn everything you need to know for a smooth transition to Cloud. The guide is broken up into digestible phases and highlights all the necessary tools, resources, and support you’ll need at each step.
Ensure you’re on a Server version compatible with our migration tooling.

Fisheye and Crucible End of Support
Why are you ending support on Fisheye and Crucible?
Fisheye and Crucible have been in maintenance mode since 2020, and we have seen a growing trend of customers moving towards newer software development technologies, methodologies, and products.
As our last remaining server products, this decision is in line with our strategic move to phase out server products as we enhance our focus on cloud solutions.
Customers with existing Fisheye and Crucible licenses will be able to renew until May 15, 2028.
What are the recommended next steps?
To ensure you have ample time to plan for this change, we will provide three years of support and maintenance for Fisheye and Crucible, ending on May 15, 2028.
If you wish to continue using Atlassian products and currently use Git for source code management, we recommend transitioning to either Bitbucket Data Center or Bitbucket Cloud.
Atlassian’s partner, Sourcegraph, offers a Code Search product that provides similar search and insights functionality to Fisheye, as well as symbol-based, semantic search and precise code navigation. More information can be found here.
In addition to Sourcegraph, there are several Marketplace apps that include functionality components of Fisheye and Crucible:
Please contact us to learn more about your options.
Can I download my data from Crucible?
Yes, you can use the Project transfer for Crucible app to download your code reviews along with any relevant metadata.
Can I download my data from Fisheye?

Can I still renew my existing Fisheye and Crucible licenses?
Yes, any existing Fisheye and Crucible licenses can be renewed up until end of support on May 15, 2028
Are there any discounts if I were to migrate to either Bitbucket Data Center or Bitbucket Cloud?

Are there any alternatives to Fisheye or Crucible?
Atlassian’s partner, Sourcegraph, offers a Code Search product that provides similar search and insights functionality to Fisheye, as well as symbol-based, semantic search and precise code navigation. More information can be found here.

Can I continue using Fisheye and Crucible past the end-of-support date
Fisheye and Crucible will no longer receive important updates and support after May 15, 2028. Operating on software that's no longer supported puts your instance at risk to various security threats, including:
Exposing your systems and data to exploitation by malicious actors.
Compromising system stability with unsupported Marketplace apps.
Failing to meet crucial privacy and compliance standards, particularly in heavily regulated industries
What happens to my server products and apps after end of support?
Support for Fisheye and Crucible products and apps will end on May 15, 2028. After this date, while your products and apps will continue to operate as they currently do, they will no longer be eligible for renewals or support.
This means they will remain in their last downloaded version without additional updates, enhancements, or security patches, and will not benefit from new features or improvements.
Over time, Fisheye and Crucible will become increasingly outdated in terms of performance and compatibility with new technologies. More importantly, they may become vulnerable to security threats, as neither Atlassian nor Marketplace Partners will provide technical support, security updates, or bug fixes for critical vulnerabilities after May 15, 2028. This could pose significant security and operational risks for your organization.
